Wallice Hana Watanabe, better known mononymously as Wallice, opened up the gig on Tuesday night. While the Los Angeles-based artist played fan favorites like "Punching Bag," she had also unveiled her newest songs off her upcoming sophomore EP. A couple of the songs she performed from the forthcoming record include the title track "90s American Superstar" and "Funeral." After singing a cover of Harry Styles' latest single, "As It Was," Wallice ended her set with "23", mentioning that it was her first time performing the song since she turned 24. Keep your eyes peeled on May 6th for the official release of "90s American Superstar!"

Luna Li is the stage name and musical project of Toronto-based artist Hannah Bussiere Kim. The musician's career took off over the past two years due to her experimental compositions and interludes. Li performed music from her most recent project, the 2022 debut album 'Duality.' Halfway through her set, Luna Li traded her electric guitar for a violin and joined her band in playing a few ethereal instrumental tracks. Before she left the stage, Li welcomed Bea on stage early, and the two performed their song off 'Duality,' entitled "Silver Into Rain."

After a series of phenomenal opening acts, Bea Kristi (AKA Beabadoobee) and her band took the stage! They started the set with "Worth It," "Together," and "Care," which are all from Beabadoobee's 2020 record 'Fake It Flowers.' The group played songs from previously released albums and EPs and tracks from the upcoming album ‘Beatopia.' The audience heard "See You Soon," the second single off 'Beatopia.' A few days after the show, the single "See You Soon" was officially released along with an accompanying black and white music video. Following a fantastic night, it's safe to say that we're looking forward to listening to 'Beatopia' on July 15th when it drops!

Make sure to check out the 88FIVE Live at Mr Musichead with Beabadoobee later this month!
