Today in Rock History: Badfinger

4/24/75: Peter Ham, the British songwriter with Badfinger, committed suicide in the garage of his home at age 27. Among many accomplishments, Ham co-wrote 'Without You' which won an award for Song Of The Year in 1973 and was a hit for Harry Nilsson and Mariah Carey. Ham was also a founding member of The Iveys, who became Badfinger... their first hit 'Come And Get It' was written by Paul McCartney.
